My POP3 emails get downloaded from my domain host, but they do not show up
in any of the users' mailboxes.
The number of items shown in the mailbox store also do not increase, which
made me think that that SBS was not downloading the email.
I have contacted my domain host, to verify my email settings, and they said
my account was receiving messages fine. I then verified this by using the
webmail
provided by my domainhost, and the inbox was showing messages I have sent
there, but then disappeared after a while. At this point, I figured SBS had
downloaded them, only to see the the number of items have not increased in
the mailbox store on the server, and obviously Outlook shows now new
messagews.

Also, I can send messages to anybody outside and inside my network. Any
suggestions?
Thanks for all the help, Im really lost on this one.

Attila

Thank you for posting your question to the Newsgroup.

How many POP3 accounts do you have in the POP3 connector. If it's more
than 15 you may be running into the following issue:

303741 Users May Not Receive Messages from Connector for POP3 Mailboxes
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=303741

This fix is included in the SBS Service Pack 1a which is available on our
web site at www.microsoft.com/sbserver

I have only three POP3 accounts.
Additional info: This seems to have started after I have configured SBS to
be the DNS and the DHCP server instead of the router. All DNS and DHCP
funtctions work well, except the POP3 issue. I do not see why this would
might have caused the problem, but I thought I mentione it.
To try to fix my pop3 issue, I have
Ran the ICW a number of times, but nothing helped.
Thanks,
Attila

Can you give us the ipconfig/all from the server?
Is DNS pointing to the server-IP? Have you added the ISP-DNS-numbers in the
tab Forwarders?
Do you have options 003, 006 and 015 set in DHCP-server, Scope options?
Anything in the eventlogs?

Thank you for posting your question to the Newsgroup.

Is your internet domain name the same as your Active directory domain name
(ie. mycompany.com)

What is your AD domain name?
What is the e-mail server url you're entering in the POP3 connector.

It may be thay you're trying to pop the mail from your server instead of
your ISP.

Here is my ipconfig /all resutls. I changed my network name below. I also
checked the DHCP settings as suggested. I have two forwarders set in DNS,
pointing to the ISPs DNS servers.
Even Viewer shows no errors, infact it shows that the pop3 connector
completed succesfuly. Im still suspecting the domain host, but they say
