If I'm reading the original problem description correctly, what David is
saying is that the email profile is causing the Outlook view of the folder
information in Exchange to be incorrect or corrupted. If this is the case,
it's really not necessary at all to delete the User itself, just to handle
the mailbox problem.
You could accomplish this by using the AD Users and Computers as Chris was
suggesting to delete the mailbox. This doesn't technically delete the
mailbox, rather it puts it into a deleted items retention condition for the
server. If you then recreate a new mailbox, you should be able to have a
clean email configuration with a new empty mailbox and the same user contact
information. You shouldn't need to change anything at the local workstation
to resolve this further, other than to undo changes you may have previously
made.
All of this said, I'm not sure we really have the problem here defined.
