My log reports EVENTID 20169 RemoteAccess

The RAS server cannot connect DHCP.
How can I solve this problem.

For the time being I addressed a range of Internal IP addresses to the VPN
connections, but I prefer DHCP, because than also DNS requests work

Thanks, Harpert

In the configuration of RRAS, you can setup a static DHCP-pool. Have you
done that?

Thank you for posting your question to the newsgroup.

Does your server have a single nic or are you configured with multiple nics?

If your server has 2 nics installed, but you're only using one, verify that
the Nic that is not being used is disabled.

Also, in RRAS console, change the default setting from "allow RAS to select
adapter" to the internal
adapter. To do this, go to the properties of the RRAS server, click on the
IP tab and select the LAN adapter from the drop down list of adapters

Another thing you may want to verify is that DHCP is bound to the LAN
interface. To do this, start the DHCP console, choose the properties of
the DHCP server. Click on the Advanced tab and click the bindings button.
Make sure you only have a check mark next to the LAN interface.
