I have gone in to dns and just cleared out old or bad entries. This
has been done twice in 6 years of SBS and over 40 SBS installs. DNS is
usually maintenance free.

Marek,

Look in the properties of your DHCP scope on the DNS tab put on the option
that DHCP can discard PTR and A records when lease is deleted.

If you have remainings of dns entries made by old windows 9x workstations
you could see look of the dynamic update option for these old clients is on.
Than DHCP handles DNS entries for your old workstations, which are incapable
of doing dynamic updates.

Erik.
