Just install a Full Packaged Product Windows 2000 Server on the New
Machine as a "BDC". The SBS 2000 CALS will cover Access to the Server so
configure it with the same number of CALs as you have on the SBServer.
You can Install MS Server products such as Exchange, SQL Server etc. on
that ("BDC") Server, however they -must- be FPP and have the Requisite
Product CALs. You -cannot- Install the Servers that come with SBServer on
anything other than the SBServer.
If you're looking for Failover Fault tolerance, then the "BDC" Path still
wont cover it.
IMHO the best option for Failover Fault tolerance is to have a Clone of
the Server Offline, with the server running SCSI RAID 1 and RAID 5 Disk
Arrays. If the SBServer fails, Swap the Hard Drives and Connections to
the New Server, and turn it on. - Max time lost 15/20 Min.
Jeff Middleton has posted some stuff re "BDCs" as Failover Servers which
you can find using Google Group Search if you're interested.
