Hi.
I have a DELL 1600SC with MS SBS2000 SP4 installed.

Mi system worked fine, but after few days, i realize the switch's LINK/ACT
leds started to blink, and never stops.
Even i reboot the server, the switch immediatly start to blink again.

I think it happened after i configured the domain on the server and clients.
Could it be the cause?

Please, can somebody tellme how can i detect the procces or the machine who
is sending traffic on the net.
Is there a tool or utility to find and kill that proccess.

TIA.

best way to approach this is to connect the server to the switch and then
patch in each workstation to the switch one at a time, whilst watching the
switch activity.

you could have a bad nic or flylead causing this

charles.
