Can't be done. Shouldn't be done. It can corrupt the mail system.

Do a google search, you'll find hundreds asking the same question and
getting mostly the same answer.

My intent was not to steer you wrong. My answer was in regards to the POP3
Connector that comes with SBS. There is a rumored Registry Hack to get
around it, but it can corrupt the system. Somebody else found a way to
trigger the retrieve program via Scheduler whenever you want.

I must be stoned, because I'm fairly positive I read a post here not that
long ago from one of the MVP's (and as usual, I could be and likely am
wrong) that was emphatic about the pop3 connector trying to retrieve mail
more than every 15 minutes could corrupt the delivery process if the mail
from the previous connection had not been delivered by the next connection.
Again, this was in regards to the pop3 connector that comes WITH SBS.

There are always 3rd party products, my bad for not mentioning that.

Scheduling msbokick.exe to launch at an interval less than every 15 minutes
is a workable solution -- but you do need to be aware that a large
attachment that takes longer than the scheduled interval to download will
cause the connector to get stuck in a loop. I've had it scheduled to fire
every 5 minutes for four months now and have had this (continuous loop)
problem happen one time.

It's the trigger program that tells the pop3 connector to check for mail.
The loop problem he discusses is similar to what I recall reading about.

OK, you're calling me out here and exposing yet another thing I know nothing
about that I should.....Windows Scheduler.

My understanding is you 'simply' schedule the program "msbokick" to run at
whatever set interval you choose. I MUST REPEAT, I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M
DOING, I'M JUST SPECULATING.

I can't see a way to schedule anything more than once a day.......so
somebody else needs to help you here.
