POP3: Failed to check the POP3 account for
admin@hostx.com at host mail.hostx.com on port 110. The
error is 10060

The only fix that I see for this is the latest service
pack for SBS server. Any other suggestions? Thanks in
advance.

10060 may mean a bad username/password. Have you tried the combo via OE?

Joshua,

The event error is 10060 can also indicate a failure to make a socket
connection with the Internet Service Provider's Pop_Server.
Error 11060: Connection Timed out
Can you telnet from the server to the IP address of the POP_Server on port
110?

If you have two nics on SBS, and ISA Server, have you enabled the packet
filter for POP3 (TCP 110)?

Do you have a router device that is preventing TCP 110 traffic in both
directions?

Thank you for posting your question to the Newsgroup.

Have you applied SBS SP1 yet? You can download it from the following site:
