I have 13 workgrouops in different locations, they must use a class A network range to operate existing software. At each location I need one PC to communicte with my SBS03 server and drop off a data files each day and communicte for Email, they don't have internet access at the moment. So the local workstations are using the same range of IP addresses as my SBS server the requirement is that they be static. With SBS4.5 they were able to communicate using the dial-up adpter just fine. Now windows 98 PC can dial and have access but the windows 2000 PC's don't get any DHCP info so they don't connect properly. So Question Should I move my Local IP range to a class B Network range? My wan range is a class C

I dissabled the local network adapter and the windows 2000 PC was then able to access the network.

Thoughts and Ideas anyone?
