Hello all,
I am having a problem with the client computers on my SBS
2k network accessing internet websites.
Clients receive the following error:
***IE Error Message***
An error occurred reading the contents of the folder. Make
sure the file name is valid and you have permission to
access the location specified.
Details:
The FTP session was terminated.

***DOS Error Message***
ftp> open
To domain.com
Connected to domain.com.
Connection closed by remote host.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Lenzy,

Is the Firewall Client installed on the workstations?
Does the proxy in the IE-settings point to your sbsserver?

No, the firewall client is not installed on the
workstation. The workstation was manually configured and
joined to the network.
The browser settings point to the proxy to allow access to
the net.

If you want the workstations to be able to FTP, you'll need to install the
Firewall Client.
