How do you get an XP Pro computer to use the fax
capapbilties of the SBS2000 server. I tried running the
setup from the clientapps5 folder, but the setup doesn't
work.

Which errormessage do you get? Have a look at 325807, 258498 and 248427.

On each XP Pro client Install MSwindows fax in Windows XP through control
panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components.

From the Start menu: in Printers & Faxes, Delete the Fax printer that is
setup by the above.

Run //servername/ Find the sharedfax printer and right click CONNECT.

Shared Fax should now be listed in the users printers list. Clicking on the
printer will open the shared fax console (or runs the wizard to set up the
users name, etc if yo havent already done it). You don't get the shared fax
console in the program menu as before.

Great job. You got it. I did what you suggested and it worked perfectly.

Thanks
