I recently added a Cisco Pix Firewall so we could use Cisco's secure
3DeS VPN Tunnels.

The pix doesn't want to work with 2 nics in the SBS2000 Server. I
reconfiged for using only 10.0.0.2 and disabled the second NIC.

Now I'm getting NetLogon DNS Event 5774 Errors...

Anyone know where to start to make all of the necessary changes from
TWO NICS down to ONE NIC???

Dennis,
I have a Pix 506E firewall with the two NICS and
everything runs great except no one can VPN to the
network. The PIX and ISA cannot translate the data from
the PIX to the second NIC. This has been confirmed by
CISCO.... I have not tried the one NIC Solution only
because you will get a ton of Web Proxy errors with ISA
on the server.

The following article should give you some troubleshooting steps you can
use to eliminate the 5774 events you're seeing:

Hey Peter... the one nic solution allows the users to VPN into the PIX using
the secure triple des, and then run OWA and access all of the info on the
inside (shared computers, SBS\Company folder, user folders,
http://sbs/exchange etc...)

As you have said though, we are getting proxy errors... as well as packet
filter errors on the ISA.

That is why I was looking for a solution/assistance/KB Article... on how to
change DOWN TO ONE NIC FROM TWO.

Most of the threads I saw go the other way. I know I am obviously missing
many steps...
