Hello,
I would assume you are nolonger using ISA or have another firewall ?
Windows 2003 server has desktop faxing, you have Exchange already and
you said that you do not need SQL. The only real thing you will miss is
all the wizards.
There should be no real issues. Use Exmerge to dump out the Exchange
stores and reimport the PST files into the new Exchange server (if you
are not already using the seperate exchange server).
You could build the w2k3 server as a backup PDC emulator, merge the AD
account information accross from the SBS box, copy over the data, turn
off the SBS box and keep going. This will mean user and computer Sids
will remain the same however you must also keep the same domain name
doing this.
The other thing to look at is Jeff Middletons Swing migration. You can
swing an SBS box onto a W2k3 machine. www.sbsmigration.com
Really, there are no traps, this will not be difficult, as long as you
backup and work through each step carefully.
good luck !
