Hi Group, I have created a branch office VPN using Toms
http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/g2gisa2rraspart1.html white paper.

It's works fine except the server can't access the internet when the VPN
demand dial interface is up. This is stopping AntiVirus and Windows updates
from working!

Any ideas why!

Austin

Austin,

Try the following..

1) Go to Properties of My Network Places
2) Create a new VPN Connection with the same name as your dial on demand
VPN connection in RRAS. Note this connection really won't be used to dial..
3) In IE go to Tools/Internet Options/Connections tab.. select the VPN
connection name created in step 2 and then click on the Settings button..
Specify your Proxy server settings the same as specified in the LAN
settings..

or another option would be to create an outbound packet filter for
destination TCP port 80 and TCP port 443.

Hope that helps,
