We just installed a windows 2003 server that is a member of a windows 2000
domain. We are planning to move the user files and directories off the 2000
server and onto the 2003 because of space issues. Each user has a home
directory and some are sharing folder inside that directory with other users.
I noticed that when I can here that most if not all of the directories have
group Everyone listed in the permissions and security which makes me think
that all users can access all directories. My question is what is the best
way to tighten up the accesss to the files to only allow each user access to
their own directory and grant permission to some files within that to some
other users. And at what level does Group Everyone need to be at, and what
permission does that group need.

Thanks
