my backups keep failing becuase the antivirus software does not allow access to certain folders within my program
files. is there a way to manually exlcude these directories as the backup wizard wont allow me to as they
are suposedly directories required to do a system restore (i assume because they are in the program files directory). possibly somewhere in the registry or something???

I am using Trend Micro's Client/Server/Messaging suite. The specific apps are "Server Protect" and "ScanMail for Exchange", both latest versions

The directories in question are
C:\Program Files\Trend\Smex\Bku
C:\Program Files\Trend\SProtect\Viru

Also, the one day i had a couple of bad emails in Exchange which also came up in the backup log. Havn't seen those since tho.
