Do a search on the server for backup??.log (there should be 10 of these if
everything is working properly). The default location (if using the
Administrator's account for scheduling backups) is:
<system root>\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data
There should also be listings in the Event Viewer...Application Logs, with a
source of "ntbackup" to show when the backup started and when it ended. If
there were any errors, they may also show up in the event logs.
If this still doesn't point to the problem, create a separate small backup
(just a folder or two) and schedule it to run 10 minutes from now. Log off
and then see what happens.
