How do I know that my server is being backed up? There is a tape in it but I
cannot find anything in the Event Log that says "system backed up" or
whatever. Also, shouldn't there be a task in the Scheduled Task box? I
simply can't find anything to tell me that my server was backed up. It is
supposed to do it the 15th of every month.

Hi Cpme,

How are you backing up? With which program? And why not every day? You do
realize that only 1 backup per month won't help you to get files back after
the last back up.

Actually, I'm just starting here at this company. Their old practice was to
backup once every month. We are using a tape right now with NTBackup. I'm
trying to see when the last backup was run because I have doubts as to
whether it is even doing it's job. Is there someplace I can see a report for
this?

Hi Cpme,

In NTBackup, tab Restore. In the menu you will now find the option Reports
which will let you view the backup logs.
