Hi! This article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=283628 gives a little
note at the bottom

"Note: You will not be able to use a PPTP connection by using either the
Winsock Proxy Client, or the ISA Firewall Client. Clients will require a
Gateway address to provide a network route through the ISA server for PPTP
connections to be made successfully. "

How do I configure a gateway address? My laptop does use the ISA firewall
client.

Hello Marcia,

to add an gateway you should go to your network configuration.
but if you're using SBS you probably have an gateway defined already.
To check this you should do the following.

Windows 9x:go to start - Run then enter the command winipcfg, you open it up
and then select the network adapter. click on advanced and check if the
gateway box is filled with an address (the address of the SBS server.

Windows NT/2000/XP go to Start - Run then enter the command cmd and press
enter.
and (dos look alike) screen opens up, now type at the prompt ipconfig /all
and look for the gateway field.
these will be filled out otherwise reply please.

So this will probably be ok, so now you've to configure ISA to let pptp
traffic out of the LAN, though do remember that this can be an security
risk.
On the server go to isa management and go to Access Policy - IP Packet
Filters - and the in the right pane click on "configure packet filtering and
intrusion detection"
on the general tab enable ip routing and on the pptp tab you select the
check box.

now you should be able to openup pptp connections from inside to the outside
world.

Hopefully this helps.
