I am trying to add a terminal server 2000 to an existing
SBS 2000 network to utilize some Thin Clients. Is there a
how to white paper or other info on the steps to get this
done? Also we will be putting SQL 2000 on the Terminal
Server, is there a paper on when to install the SQL
server? Do I install SQL 2000 before putting the server in
Application mode or after? Any help would be greatly
appriciated.

SQL and an app server?!?!? how many users? It would probably perform
better on your SBS box. You either need to master GPOs to lockdown TS or
look at 3rdparty s/w like my AppLauncher (there are some papers there on TS
you may find helpful as well).

There is a Whitepaper on TS in Application mode in SBS Enviroment located at
http://members.microsoft.com/partner/salesmarketing/salestools/whitepapers/S
BS2000_Plus_W2KServer_Running_TS.aspx

Mark is right about SQL. It might be better to leave it on the SBS system.
If you move it to another machine, you can't use the SQL version and you
will need client access licenses for SQL. If you stick with the SBS
version, then the SBS CALs will cover SQL access.

Is there any special reason you wish to deploy SQL on the TS? Anything
wrong with using SQL on the SBS?
