Our Windows 2000 sbs server was initially installed
without the SQL option, now I need to add this component.
There is no technet article for doing this, does anybody
have this simple procedure for me.
Cheers

If you have not completed the SBS installation you should do it now (and
select SQL). Can you see the SBS admin console?

If you already have completed the SBS integrated setup... then just go the
add/remove program to add SQL.

Actually just went through this the past weekend.

One word of caution. If you need any kind of "custom" install (SQL
Collations, etc.) you may want to consider (thanks fellow MVP Steve Foster)
inserting Disk 2 of the SBS CDs and running the sql install from there. You
will be ask for a product key. Use the SBS product key. Your SBS cals
will still be valid but you will see all the same screens that you see
during a retail install.

Hi Guys and thank you for the reply, the install was
completed 4 months prior, I am taking over the site and
they now need SQL. DO I just insert CD 2 and run the
install or do I go through add/remove programs in the
control panel, cheers Philip

I think whichever method you prefer will be fine. Personally, I would go
through add/remove (but as Cris mentioned if you need a "custom" install go
the CD2 route).
