When adding an object to Small Business Server 2000, and then also setting
the attributes after the addition of the new object, the Directory becomes
very slow. When moving through tabs, it will take about 10 seconds before
fully loading the data within the tab. Can someone please help out?
Thanks.

Hello, thanks for responding. I am adding just a user account. Once that
has been done, I go back in, and change some of the use settings. But, it
is so slow, both the adding and changing property steps. Any ideas? Thanks

Look for erors in the Event Viewer. If you have two nics make sure the
internal nic is at the top of the binding order. Make sure any and all
nics in the network point to the ip of the internal nic for dns.
