Hi - I'm still struggling with my web based e-mail. OWA right? I'm sbserver
2000 with exchange server running on same box. When I type in the URL
(http??:mail.mydomain.com/exchange I get page not found. This has run off
and on in the past so it is time to figure it out and fix it. I've done a
lot of searches but here I am (again). Can somebody point me to a good
turorial on how it is setup and run? Perhaps I'm just missing a service that
is turned off. Help as always is great.

Well the paper wasn't really much help. Particulary in how the OWA is set
up initially. I was able to get a better view of the error message on the
http address. It is #403 which is a permissions error. I wonder if the
issue lies in my sonic wall pro200 fire wall.

As a second idea what services need to be running for this to work?

I noted that in my In ternet Services my Basic Website was turned off.
Tried to turn it on but it said the address was already in use. The address
was the IP of my server.

Many thanks.

Thanks Chris

Tried them both earlier and same error message - 403. I noted that the
virtual server in my exchange manager control panel is turned off (red X).
When I try to turn it on I'm directed to my IIS admin panel and then to the
http section but I am unable to do anythere. I tried to creat a new virtual
server but had no luck. Would this mean that it isn't a firewall issue if I
get ths same error message in and outside of the LAN?

Thats correct
Its not a firewall issue, its a IIS issue, and quite possible a =
permission problem

'Thats good news at least about the firewall. I've logged on as the admin
vs. myself in the past and went into services. I'm looking at properties for
the www Publishing and wondering if it is a login issue here? Currently the
setup is to logon as local system account. Down below I have 2 hardware
profiles and each are enabled. Should this be setup for the administrator
account instead of local profile? Should i even be looking in here :) I
don't want to make any changes with out a second opinion.
