Hello,
What is recommended for SBS, to install SBS SP or individual components SPs?
Thank you.

All up to date service packs and patches for all components. OS SP4
with updates, Exchange SP3 with post SP patches, ISA SP1 with post SP
patches, SQL SP3a. And there is a SBS sp1a to fix some minor SBS
specific issues.

Please confirm if I understood correct: you must install components SPs for
fix components and SBS SP for specific SBS issues? Does not SBS SP include
the components SPs, too?

Thank you

you don't _must_ do anything. With the current status of Windows Update I'm
fairly certain you could complete an SBS2000 install and send her to WU and
expect all updates for the OS to be applied automatically. I completed an
SBS2003 install recently and imediately sent her to WU, nothing broken.

But then we get into whether it is desirable or complete if you do it this
way. Simply, no it's not. We're not so worried about the 99 ties it works as
the one time it fails. (How come I have to be 'the one time'? most times).

If throwing together an SBS2K system today I would have SBSsp1a on CD and
apply it after manually applying Win2Ksp4 and then Exch2Ksp3. You also want
SQLsp3(a) and probably ISAsp1 and the feature pack. Then I'd rerun the ICW
and use WU for post W2Ksp4 hotfixes. I'd then grab the CD which has a recent
version of both hfnetchk and the MBSA and install them.

And just so you don't get completely confused note that SBSsp1a is SBSsp1
plus W2000sp4
