Hi Paris,
Yes, I've noticed the slowness as well. I'm not sure what causes it, but
it's possible sus is a fairly low priority item and this is on purpose so it
doesn't sap all your bandwidth. Also it's possible that the download site is
very busy. On the plus side, it's really only the initial synch that takes a
long time - and than is made worse because you're sitting there watching it.
Once the initial synch is out of the way, and if you are set up to download
updates automatically, this will happen in the background when you're not
watching and all will be fine.
