Has anyone ever set up OWA with out using ISA server? I
have a netscreen box that is my firewall and I would
rather keep it than use ISA server. All the
documentation that I'm finding is setting it up through
ISA server and I can't put my external ip address in ISA
server. Any help would be great! thanks

i'm not altogether sure what this netscreen box is? is it a router or
something? what exactly does it do.
how is your internet connection coming into the sbs box? modem/isdn/adsl
etc...??

Hi Travis -

I'm assuming you've only got one nic in your server & you're using your
netscreen as a router? The setup should be relatively simple. Check out
http://www.smallbizserver.net/sbs2000/How_do_I_configure_OWA_with_SSL.aspx -
just ignore the part about configuring the server publishing rule in ISA.
Then configure your Netscreen box to forward port 443 to your SBS.

Alternatively, if you have two nics and ISA and the Netscreen between ISA
and your internet connection, then follow the article above exactly - you'll
still need to configure the Netscreen to forward port 443 to your SBS . . .
