hi, I run into this problem where I have hidden rows 1 - 3 and now I can't
seem to unhide them.

I found the below in online help. however, it still does not unhide the
hidden rows.
If the first row or column of a worksheet is hidden, click Go To on the Edit
menu. In the Reference box, type A1, and then click OK. On the Format menu,
point to Row or Column. and then click Unhide.
Instead of being hidden, the height or width of the first row or column of a
worksheet may have been set to zero. In this case, point to the border of the
Select All button until the cursor changes to or , and then drag to widen
the row or column.

Any ideas are highly appreciated! thanks!

Two thoughts,

If your rows are hidden by a filter then you can't simply unhide them you
must remove the filter.

Or Tap F5 and type A1 in the dialogbox and click OK. Then
Format|Row|Height set the height to 12.75.

Mike, thanks for your input.

I have no filters I am aware of and show all appears greyed out.
Your second thought is what I tried from online help and it did not unhide
either.
(I have tried again anyhow with the same result)

In fact I do not see the somewhat thicker line indicating hidden rows, but
my sheet starts with row 4 and with "go to" I can edit content in the hidden
rows.
However, I still can not unhide the hidden rows.
thanks!

Try going to Window/Unfreeze Panes, I had a similar problem, which led me to
find this thread, and in reading it, I thought of that solution.
