    - unhide row does not unhide the hidden rows hi, I run into this problem where I have hidden rows 1 - 3 and now I can't seem to unhide them. I found the below in online help. however, it still does not unhide the hidden rows. If the first row or column of a worksheet is hidden, click Go To on the Edit menu. In the Reference box, type A1, and then click OK. On the Format menu, point to Row or Column. and then click Unhide. Instead of being hidden, the height or width of the first row or column of a worksheet may have been set to zero. I'm trying to link information from different pages in a spreadsheet that contain id's for people and prices they are paying for some items my church is selling. We have a main worksheet that lists their names and the ids and then we have another worksheet that lists all the items they can buy with it's price. Is it possible to create a formula in the name page that says "If you find id #1 in column A, then sum the prices from column D".     - Formula Funtions Hi, I am working in excell 2000 and I would like to write a formula that would divide a numer in one cell and times the decimal portion of the answer by the same amount I was divding it by. Example cell A1 would countain the amount I entered 5000 I would like cell B1 to divide the amount in A1 by 560 and then times the reaining amount that would be in decilmal by 560.     - formatting in different countries I've recently created a spreadsheet which contains a date formatted to show as the day of the week by means of "dddd". However this spreadsheet is to be used in Germany and France and I've discovered that in order for the formatting to work, "dddd" has to be replaced with "tttt" in Germany (for Tag) and "jjjj" in France (jour). I'm quite surprised by this as I though that the formatting would have been taken care of in Excel regardless of the country it was being opened.     - What-If Analysis Hello, I am trying to conduct a â??what-ifâ?? analysis for a fairly simple financial model. This model is basically one extensive income statement that contains historical data as well as forward-looking statements. Historical data is hard-coded while the forecast data is driven by revenue, expense, and other miscellaneous assumptions. At any given point, I want to manipulate the revenue assumption for the upcoming period to see what the effect would be, not only on that period, but for all future periods. Clearly, the easiest way to do this would be to punch in different assumptions to see what the outcome would be. However, I want to develop something that would outline multiple outcomes (for example, 10%, 30%, or 50% growths) of these revenue adjustments all at the same time. I tried using scenarios (under Tools>Scenarios) and that works great except that it cannot show multiple outcomes all on one page at the same time. I messed around with â??Summaryâ?? function under scenarios, but those outputs seem gear towards one-time analysis rather than for something that would need to be revisited each month. I was wondering if there is any other way to get the Scenarios to â??publishâ?? the effects of different inputs as a separate report that has more functionality and transparency. I also tried using data tables, which work fine if I just want to see different outcomes for one period, but if I want to see how those one period changes would affect other future periods, I would need to build additional steps to implement it into my main model (toggle switches, etc.) Any help/insight will be appreciated!
