MenuItem tooltips

Is there some way of having Tooltips in a menu item? So far I have found no
such method.

If this is impossible, is there some other way of displaying hint
information, such as changing the status bar text depending on what menuitem
is highlighted? Any easy way to go about doing this?

MenuItems are not control based so the Extender-Provider doesn't see them as
a valid target.

My BubbleTooltips product can provide tips for menu items if you're
interested in a commercial solution.

Thanks for the info. I want something with the same look as a standard
tooltip though.

Sorry about the 404 thing :-)

It can do standard looking tooltips too. That was a mundane option that I
didn't think worth mentioning.
