Dialogs Missing text

VB.NET winform appliation.

I created a simple application and it works fine on my machine, but on a
customer's it works, but message boxes have no prompt text or button text.

Any ideas ?

MessageBox or your own created dialog ?

Hi Adrian,

I'm guessing the customer has an unpatched version of McAffe VirusScan 8.
Tell him/her to update/patch the virus program.

Typically this symptom is caused by a McAfee VirusScan problem that NAI is
aware of and that can be fixed by installing a patch:

Patch 5 for McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i

Customer says he updated McAfee about 6 weeks ago.. so I've asked him to
confirm the version installed.

Finally heard back from them and as everyone guessed he'd not updated his
mcaffee.. it's now working properly.
