How can I sort a list on a field with Multiple values?

Hello - Im looking for a solution that will allow me to sort a list on a
field that has multiple values. I am open to microsoft and 3rd party
solutions.

How do you imagine it would sort on a field with muliple values?

I.e which single value would it choose to sort on ?

There's a good reason why WSS doesn't sort on these fields.

I would think you could specifiy that. Alphabetically? By numberic value?

Or maybe Group by? If the value that is being grouped is in the multiple
value field it would include it in multiple places? Is that possible?

You can't Group on Multiple Value fields for the same reason - it doesn't
know which value to group on.
