Hi folks,

I'll tell you the background story of this Internet Explorer pop up window
error "Can not retrieve properties at this time". Initially I create a
document library called help document, then inside the document library I
create some index folders like A, B, C ...

Inside each folder I create some items (Basic Page), such as Product.aspx
... Product.aspx will show user about product info. But then it's a plain
text page with top naviation bar and a link to Edit the Content. When you
click the Edit Content link, a pop up Rich Text Editor will help you to edit
the page content easier.

To I improve the page, I add a left panel that show you a Help Document web
part. So, You can browse through each directory and click the page you want
it to view. Of course, the bad thing you need to add the help document web
part on every page you've created.

By doing above improvement, I can not click Edit Content link anymore. When
I click it, It will pop up "Can not retrieve properties at this time" ERROR.
Is there any way I can make the edit content works again ? Or Is there better
way to do this kind of thing ?

Thank you folks
Any help would be very appreciated ...

Regards,
Tjendarta Ho

This usually happens pre-SP2, and only if a web server has an IP address
assigned to it.

Upgrade to SP2 for Windows SharePoint Services, and the problem should go
away.

Hi Dustin,

Thank you for your reply ...

I'm not sure about the version of my WSS, but I have download the WSS2003SP2
exe file from microsoft site. I tried to install it, but then it said the SP2
is already applied to my WSS.

Cheers,
