For some reason our new users do not have a my site link. Some existing
users have lost their mysite main page but can map to the content. Any
ideas?

As My Site is only a function of SharePoint Portal Server 2003, this is the
wrong newsgroup for questions on it (here we cover WSS problems that are
common to all implementations).

Please post this question to the SPS newsgroup
microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver

The "My Site" is a feature of SharePoint Portal Server.
It may be more appropriate to ask this question in the
microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver newsgroup.

Thanks

(In fact I did 7 hours ago - having problems with your OE, Cornelius ? I
hate it when it drops messages)

Wanted to let you know that I received an answer from the newsgroup you sent
me to. For anyone else that reads this post, Here is the reply I received:
As to what can/cannot be done, the best authority is the
Administration Guide (no code) and SDK (code).
He said that a web part could be developed to pull the information. And
that is what is meant by code. A web part is code. I am grateful that he
was able to give me clear straightforward direction and instruction on this.
