Has anyone modified the menu items that show on the top menu? I can add or
delete menu items by modifying the ONET.XML file however this only seems to
affect new pages when they are added. The old web part pages have to be
modified in Frontpage to change the top menu bar. Is there a better way or
am I not doing it correctly?

FrontPage 2003 is the reccomended way to make those changes.

Thanks Ed. Is there a blanket way to do it in Frontpage? I have a lot of
pages, some buried in sub-folders and I would hate to have to search through
the whole site for each one.

Alan

Alan,

I believe that changes to the the top menu bar are reflected in all pages in
a site. I don't have my copy of FP 2003 handy, so I can't test this out for
sure.

This was certainly the case in STS with FP 2002. I remember it scaring the
life out of me when I changed the menu bar with FP 2002 *in a subweb* and
the entire site (even upwards) changed. [It was a test site, thank goodness]

Great! That is what I needed it to do. It does work the same way with FP
2003 and WSS.
