Some weeks ago, I created a recurring meeting in Outlook and (from
Outlook) was able to create a linked meeting workspace. Then the meeting
was cancelled so I deleted it from Outlook. Of course the data in the
meeting workspace was still there, just no longer linked to any Outlook
meeting.

Now I have a need to re-establish this recurring meeting. I created the
new Outlook meeting and then attempted to "link to an existing workspace"
but the drop-down box of workspaces shows "None found". I tried each
choice in "Select a location" (even "Other" then typed in the base URL to
my pre-existing meeting workspace) but have had no luck.

How could I link to this existing meeting workspace?

Hello,

Based on your message, I have performed a simliar test, but the meeting
workspace is still in the drop down box. Do you have full permission to the
meeting workspace? Also, you try to create a new meeting workspace to see
if it can work:

1. Create a new meeting request in outlook
2. Create a meeting workspace linking to the meeting request
3. send the meeting request
4. disconnect the meeting workspace
5. Cancel the meeting request
6. Create a new meeting request and try to link it with original meeting
workspace

I have tested above steps and it works on my side. (Windows server 2003,
Office 2003 and WSS with SP1.

If you are creating a recurring meeting (in Outlook), you can link it only to
an empty meeting workspace, not to a single or multiple meeting workspace.

Leson learned: if you break the link to a recurring meeting workspace that
you had through Outlook you'll have to re-create a new meeting workspace.
Cannot re-link to it.
