Is there a way I can hide a link on the page when the page has been viewed
by anonymous user? Some conditional formatting in perhaps? How can I
know if page is being viewed by anonymous? The link isn't part of a list
(and it can't be).

Thx.

No. Not with your restriction.

All users that can access the page at all will see the same info including
the same links.

All you can do is put the link in a links list and then restrict access of
the links list to say Author and above (where anonymous is Read) - then they
will be unable to access the links list and thus not see the link.

If you had the time to do it, you could implement RMS in your
enviroment so that you could put together a framework for item list
security, put your links into a link list, and then change the
permission settings like that. Otherwise you are stuck with the first
response.
