How can I edit a personal view of a web part page in frontpage?
When I open the web part page in frontpage, its shows only the shared view.

The perhaps obvious answer is that you can edit it (as far as you can) in
the browser.

I've found that to be enough as all I want is additional or different web
parts; and even images can be added via web parts so you can quickly get
quite a different look.

What sort of things do you need FP for ?

I have some data views (customized links lists) in personal view that
I cannot edit easily in the browser. The design view of frontpage is
far easier that the code that one can change trough the browser.
However, I know a workaround: in the browser, just insert the webpart
to the (or another) webpartpage in shared view, edit it in frontpage,
export, import, isert it in personal view.
A long way to go..but the only way im aware of without having to learn
code.

I added a faulty web part to a *personal view* of a webpartpage ("list
does not exist")
Now I am not able to open the personal view in WSS and not in FP2003.
Rather annoying, It leaves me to delete the whole page and create it
again.
Or is there another way?
Please help!

You can try going in to the web part maintence page. It may show up there.
You can get to the web part maintence page by adding "?Contents=1" after the
filename in the URL. It would look something like this:

https://servername/default.aspx?Contents=1

Not sure how that's going to work for personal view vs. shared view, but
it's worth a shot.
