Hello,

I need an answer to the folowing question as soon as possible:

For a "document control" solution, with aprovals, document flow, and
so on... can i use SharePoint Services 3.0? Or do I really need the
complete MOSS version?
I would prefer not to spend money on other licences and I'm wondering
if I can use the builtin version of Windows Server 2003.

Thanks in advance,
Mihai

I presume in essence you are asking about workflow.

WSS 3.0 includes one simple (and hidden) built-in simple workflow and
MOSS includes several slightly less simple workflows.

But as far as I'm aware (note that!) the workflows you can add when
using SPD 2007 or Visual Studio 2005 offer the same functionality
regardless of whether the underlying system is MOSS 2007 or WSS 3.0.
