Q

When you create a site that uses the standard Team Site or Meeting
workspace, they used default.aspx that is in the site definition
folder; but when you create a document workspace it does not use this
dafault.aspx.

Does the doc. workspace template automatically create a default.aspx
in the databse, and if so how and why is this done?

cheers

It takes it from ..template\1033\STS\DWS. Did you do change this one? Did
you do an IISRESET after this? I just changed this and to seems to have
picked up from there.
