Hi,
I'm currently setting up Sharepoint site on a shared
hosted server (hosted by our network service provider).
I am using Sharepoint to create an intranet for 8
people. I have given them permission to access the site
by entering their login and the generic
password, "ChangeMe".

My question is, can the users (I have them at the web
designer level) go to the Sharepoint site and change
their password to something unique? How do they do this?
(I need to send instructions and I can't find anything in
the MS documentation).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Could you tell us how you allocated the users ?

Did you for instance add them to the WSS server and then give them rights to
the site ?

Hi Mike,

Well as I was documenting the steps I took, I realized
that I assigned the passwords through our network service
provider and not through SharePoint WSS <insert sheepish
grin here>.

Ack. My bad. Thanks for the quick response.

cheers,
