I'm having trouble exporting a list of any kind from WSS 3.0 into
Excel XP. When I attempt to click Actions > Export to Spreadsheet
within the list it gives me the error "You must have supported
spreadsheet software to export a list." Are there Active X controls
that are required to be able to perform this function? I believed
that to be the case but the IE 6 browser isn't prompting me to
download any Active X controls. Others in the office are able to
export just fine to Excel XP but I'm not able too.

Any Ideas?

Hi,

All WSS spreadsheet functionnalities used an ActiveX. This ActiveX is not
utomatically downloaded when you browse your site but must be installed on
the client computer. WSS 3.0 requiered the Office 2003 Professionnal (or
higher) version of this ActiveX to enable Spreadsheet features.
