Some more information for everyone. The exact error message I get when
using smigrate is:
ERROR: 589831 Server error: The folder that would hold URL 'MSDS' does not
exist on the server.
I originally thought it was listing the subwebname in the error message.
But as it turns out MSDS is the name of a folder in the site. I setup the
site in My Network Places as a Web Folder and when I browse to it I get the
error "The folder
http://webname/MSDS is no longer available." I'm assuming
this is why I am getting the error when I try to use smigrate.exe and also
why stsadm cannot backup the site.
Hopefully this extra info helps. Any ideas?
