We had wss 3.0 installed on a regular workstation with Windows server
web edition everything worked fine. We have now decided to move to
using SharePoint on a more regular basis so we installed wss3.0 on a
enterprise server with a separate SQL server. Backed up all the
information from the original site and restored it to the new server.
Since then we are not able to add new users that exist in Active
Directory to the site, however you can add them to Central
Administration site.
What did we do wrong?
