Hi,

We have a medium server farm - 5 servers - with SharePoint 2003, WSS &
Portal.

We want to use SharePoint 2007 but do not want to buy 5 servers....can
SharePoint 2007 be put on these servers?

In other words can SharePoint 2003 and 2007 co-exist on the same
hardward...?

Thanks.

Steve

This is the newsgroup for WSS 2.0 and WSS 3.0 *product* installations.

You are using SPS 2003 and asking about MOSS 2007.

Try instead the old SPS newsgroup

microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver

OR

the new Admin newsgroup for all SP products and versions

microsoft.public.sharepoint.setup_and_administration

meaning any questions about WSS 2.0 or WSS 3.0 from people who have
installed either the WSS 2.0 product or the WSS 3.0 product (and only
one of those).

(Just in case there was any confusion about the word installation).

The questioner had installed SPS 2003.
