Greetings to all.
I have 3 websites.
One of them is main website (site-1); two are sub sites for HR
(site-2)/Marketing (site-3).
I have 3 users (User-1 / User-2 / User-3),

I want User-2 to access Site-2, in any given permission for site-2 only.
User-3 to access site-3 only,in any given permission for site-3 only.
User-1 to access all sites.

How can we configure users in above situations?

Thanks for your time.

Hic.

You can specify access rights at site ; sub-site and list level.

Thus you can restrict access to site 2 to user2; site 3 to user3 and assign
user1 to all sites.

Hello,

To specify the access permission to sites, you can go to

Top-level Site Administration\ Users and Permissions \Manage users

And add all user who can access the site here. Also, when you create a sub
site, for "User Permissions" setting, select "Use unique permissions" so
that it won't inherit from parent site.

To specify the access permission to lists, just select "Modify settings and
columns" for the list and "Change permissions for this list".

Hope this help,
