I installed SharePoint 2007 Server on Win2003 x64 Std. Ed. Also
installed current patches for WSS and MOSS. When trying to access
any ot the sites that the setup created in IIS on the machine I
get this error:

Server Error in '/' Application

Runtime Error

I already tried to set the <customErrors mode="Off"/> in all
web.config files related to WSS but I still does not display the
error details.

any suggestions? thanks a lot for any hints!

Oliver

Sorry but this is a newsgroup for installations of the WSS 2.0 or 3.0
*products* only.

You are running MOSS 2007 so you are in the wrong newsgroup.

Post either to the old SPS 2003 newsgroup

microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver

OR to one of the new newsgroups for all SP products

For this question

microsoft.public.sharepoint.setup_and_administration

would be the right one.

Maybe someone can lend me an assist, I'm getting this same error on a WSS
2.0 installed on a SBS2003 server. Used to work fine, but now I get this
error. I uninstalled and reinstalled .NET 2.0 and .NET 2.0 SP1 but no help,
still get the error page. Any guidance would be greatly apprciated.

TIA,
Art Billings

find a resolution online.

No I never did get it worked out. After a couple of days of not receiving
any replies to my post I stopped checking the newsgroup. It is also low
priority so it's on the back burner.
