Hello,

I was customizing the default.aspx page and I inadvertently removed the
search bar that appears on the top right side of the page.

Anyone tell me how to replace it? The ability to search is critical to
this sharepoint services site.

Thanks!!

One way would be to create a temporary WSS installation on another machine
and grab the code for this from that installation's default.aspx and use
maybe FP 2003 to insert it.

Go to one of your other existing sites. Open the default
page with FrontPage 2003, switch to 'split' view,
highlight the search bar in the design view, the copy and
paste the highlighted code and place this into the exact
location of the default page where you had deleted it.
