Hi--

we recently migrated sharepoint 2003 to a different server.

since we migrated.......we are having issues with document libraries
that were tied to project server. We cannot upload files to these
document libraries unless using the Explorer View. Since we don't
really want to use project server anymore-----we don't really want to
install it.

On the upload.aspx--the upload fails on some PWA javascript lines.
I can't find anyplace to disassociate the document library from
project server. Can anyone help?????? Mike Walsh????

Mention Project Server and my gut reaction is to say "ask in
microsoft.public.project.server"

but let's get this clear.

You had WSS 2.0 that you were using with Project Server 2003. You had
synchronized it with Project Server 2003 so your WSS now had different
Issues Lists and Risks Lists and a few more changes compared to the standard
WSS 2.0.

Now you've moved it but you didn't move Project Server along with it.

The idea that flits across my mind is that maybe there is a way to
unsynchronize it from Project Server 2003 before moving it. Maybe (and only
those guys in .project.server would know).

If not I suspect the only way to do this would be to create a *new* copy of
WSS 2.0 on that new server and move across the data from all the lists
except Risks and Issues. (Via maybe Save List as Template).

A lot of work so investigate removing the Project Server stuff first.

(and that's all I have so your four question marks were right!)

Thanks Mike. I'll try it out in the project server group.
