MS have posted what they say is the "July" version of the WSS SDK to

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1c64af62-c2e9-4ca3-a2a0-7d4319980011&DisplayLang=en

although this was published there on the 23rd of September 2004.

at least in the WSS FAQ, the version I had listed was from May 2004 so this
*could* be a new version.

As MS have confused us before with new versions (of this and the Admin
Guide) that weren't, could someone from MS please confirm or deny that this
is indeed a new version ?

Hi Mike -

Yep, this is in fact the July 2004 edition of the SDK. My understanding is
that it has small changes for publishing to MSDN, so they didn't add a
summary description for them. They only add summary descriptions for major
changes to topics.

Thanks Troy, I obviously missed amending the FAQ's date (and version number)
when this one came out earlier.

Too busy downloading it, I guess.

[Note: this wasn't to MSDN, it was to the MS download library - or is that
MSDN too ? The URL doesn't say so.]
