I get the same thing on my lab domain. I'm running WSS 2.0 without SPS. The
server is a combination Windows 2003 Domain Controller / Exchange 2003 Server
/ Web Server. The Exchange Server does use SSL on the default web site. The
portal uses port 8080 and a virtual directory pointing to a different home
directory. The Administration pages ask for credentials which are accepted
just fine but the actual site does not prompt for a username and Anonymous
access is disabled. My test account has Administrator rights. Any thoughts?
